The Tyto is the smallest sauna in our range. Designed for two to four people, with edge-to-edge glass, a low roof and a compact footprint that sits quietly in a garden, courtyard or terrace.

Available wood-fired or electric. Made to order, drawn for your site, and adaptable in cladding, glazing and deck layout — or used as the starting point for a one-off commission.

Falco Sauna overview

Now in its 3rd generation, the Falco Sauna is our most popular model, and the backbone of our sauna range.

With its Corten overhang roof, a more private window and softer cabin styling, it is well suited to countryside or woodland properties.

The large panoramic window provides lots of light and a connection with the surroundings. This is our largest window design and something we are especially excited to offer within our range for people to enjoy.

Aquila Sauna overview

Aquila is a fully off-grid, mobile sauna designed to deliver restorative heat and cold therapy in remote and natural settings across the UK.

The Aquila sauna seats six and blends refined design with sustainable materials to create a transportable wellness retreat. This rustic cabin-style sanctuary comes complete with a traditional Narvi wood-burning stove, solar-powered lighting and an outdoor cold shower.

Explore the details

The sauna exterior

External cladding is wire-brushed Thermowood, finished in a natural black oil. The brushing reveals the grain, while the oil allows the timber to age naturally and sit quietly against most landscapes.

Every sauna includes an entrance deck, with coat and robe hooks fitted as standard.

The sauna interior

Walls are insulated with breathable sheep’s wool over a vapour cavity of slow-grown larch, allowing the building envelope to manage moisture and heat.

Internal cladding is thermo-treated aspen, chosen for its warmth, pale tone and comfort against bare skin at full sauna temperature.

Internal timber

Thermo-treated aspen lines the walls and ceiling, chosen for its warmth, pale tone and comfort in the heat.

Bench boards are made from thermo-treated alder, with an integrated angled backrest for support.

Finished with Stelon sauna oil — a natural wood sealant that helps protect the timber and is naturally antibacterial. Seats up to four people.

Lighting

Adjustable 3000K LED lighting is set below the benches and above the backrest. Brighter for mornings, dimmed down for evenings.

Outside, down-lights illuminate the deck.

Flooring

A dark porcelain tile floor, chosen for durability, easy cleaning and long-term use.

Specified for daily bathing, from private homes to hospitality settings.

Window

An edge-to-edge, high-temperature silicone-sealed double-glazed window.

The landscape becomes the wall in front of you.

Heaters

Wood-fired heater

Best suited to off-grid sites, or anywhere remote from utilities.

Wood-fired heaters take a little longer to come up to temperature, but once running they create a steady, enveloping heat. The fire becomes part of the ritual.

Running costs depend on the price of seasoned logs. A typical sauna session needs a small basket of split logs and kindling. Keeping the next logs inside the sauna as it heats helps dry them further, improving output and efficiency.

Wood-fired (8.5kW) by HUUM

Running costs: This depends on what you pay for seasoned logs. A typical session needs a small basket of split logs and kindling. Stacking the logs inside the sauna while it heats up dries them further and improves output.

Electric heater

Best suited to sites where mains power can be brought to the sauna.

Electric heaters are easy to regulate, easy to schedule, and can be controlled by app - bringing the sauna up to temperature before you arrive home. Power can usually be trenched in from the house; a local electrician will confirm the supply required.

Electric (6kW) by HUUM

Running costs: A 6kW heater running at full power for one hour uses 6kWh of electricity. At £0.32/kWh, that is about £1.92 per hour. Once the cabin is at temperature, the thermostat cycles the heater on and off, so running costs are typically lower.

Rear deck

The standard deck can be extended to take a bench, outdoor shower or cold plunge. We also build larger custom decks, shaped to the site.

Outdoor bench

Black timber to match the cladding, fitted to the rear deck. 600mm on Tyto, 900mm on Falco and Merula.

Outdoor shower

Mounted above the rear deck, with a monsoon head and side tap for filling the sauna bucket.

Sauna heater Wi-Fi control

Bring the sauna up to temperature from your phone, so it is ready when you are.

Privacy glass

A clear view from inside, with a mirrored finish from outside. Reflects the landscape rather than the sauna.

Tyto + Monk — Contrast Pairing

A compact contrast bathing arrangement, pairing the Tyto with Monk’s Smart Ice Bath on an extended black larch deck.

The sauna and ice bath are detailed as one piece — a place to move between heat, cold and return, with a shared material language throughout.
